Dr. Viacheslav I. Adamchuk, Ph.D., P.E.
Assistant Professor, Biological Systems Engineering Department
University of Nebraska-Lincoln

He is involved in various teaching, research and extension activities associated with precision
agriculture. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and
Biological Engineering from Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana) in August 2000.
His primary research interest are design and analysis of automated systems for mapping soil
properties on-the-go . In 1996, he completed his undergraduate degree in the area of research
and testing of agricultural equipment, at the College of Agricultural Mechanization, National
Agricultural University of Ukraine .
